Mr. Larry Pitts, JR.

There are many articles composed & published by this biased & racist journalist. What he makes adamantly clear is his distaste (to put it lightly) for President Donald J. Trump & his prejudice toward whites. How can you expect a fair & honest article to be published when he can not contain his own deep-rooted hatred.

Mr. Pitt’s Jr is quick to criticize President Trump when he visited Benedict College In SC but makes no mention of how President Trump signed a bipartisan bill (Future Act) that provides our nation's historically black colleges, Universities & dozens of other institutions with permanent funding.

Holocaust article was written by Mr. Larry Pitts, Jr. What a tasteful way to describe how Germans looked at Jews. I get the feeling this is Mr. Pitts, Jr's personal opinion rather than reporting on facts to talk about the Holocaust & honor the victims & survivors.

-Columnist Pitts is a racist (11/13/2019)

It was good for Leonard Pitts Jr. to reveal in no uncertain terms what many of us have known for a long time: he is an unabashed racist. He describes those who vote GOP as “a straight, white, angry, older males lacking a college diploma” (“Pitts: Election 2020: Act with foresight or regret with hindsight," Nov. 11).

Is it possible to be any more racist than that? The Sun should let Mr. Pitts restrict his racism to Florida. We have no need of his ilk here.

-Pitt's: Donald Trump got what he deserved (10/31/2019) By. Larry Pitts JR.

Mr. Pitt describes how it "was an immensely cathartic moment. For some of us, at least.', to see POTUS booed during game 5 of the World Series.

-Miami Herald Columnist Echoes Farrakhan’s Antisemitism, Smears Jewish Conservative as ‘Termites’  (08/27/2019)

Miami Herald columnist Leonard Pitts, Jr., used what many conservatives and Jewish leaders are saying is an antisemitic attack against those working to expose the media, calling in a just-published column those involved in the effort, such as GOP strategist Arthur Schwartz, “termites.”

The use of the word “termites” echoes antisemitism from Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, who has recently used the word to attack Jewish people.

“A president who has branded journalists ‘enemies of the people’ and news media ‘an evil propaganda machine’ now has working on his behalf an anti-journalism hit squad,” Pitts, Jr., wrote in the column. “These people are nothing less than termites in the woodwork of freedom.”

-Miami Herald columnist plays cheap moral equivalence parlor tricks to deflect attention away from the reality of jihad and Islamic supremacism (03/29/2017)

It certainly would be convenient for Pitts for a Bible-quoting Christian terrorist to emerge, to balance out the hundreds of Qur’an-quoting Islamic terrorists (click on the links below). If one ever did emerge, we’d never heard the end of it — but until then, old Tim McVeigh, an atheist anarchist to all appearances, will have to keep on being dragged out to serve this purpose “Pop quiz | Bible or Quran: which is the violent book?,” by Leonard Pitts Jr. in the Pioneer Press, March 28.

It also may help, Mr. Pitts, that there are no Christians committing or advocating violence by reference to those Biblical verses today, but an abundance of Muslims worldwide committing and advocating violence by reference to Qur’an verses.

Pitts is here retailing common Islamic supremacist talking points — that the idea of “collective responsibility” is wrong, and that Muslims as a whole cannot and must not be made to bear any kind of responsibility for jihad attacks by other Muslims. In reality, no one with any sense is blaming all Muslims for anything that any individual Muslim has done; the problem lies in the Islamic texts and teachings that are used to justify such acts of violence. There is ample justification in the Qur’an, which calls upon Muslims to fight Christians until they “feel themselves subdued” (9:29), and the Sunnah, in which Muhammad tells his followers to offer non-Muslims conversion or subjugation, and to go to war with them if they refuse both, for jihad attacks. Muslims who oppose such attacks need ultimately to confront the existence of these Islamic teachings and work honestly to blunt their force, but non-Muslims need make no apology for recognizing that this is not being done within the Muslim community now, and making a realistic appraisal accordingly, and taking what steps must be taken to defend themselves and their way of life.
